#12 DIY, HOW TO: HALF BLEACHED DENIM SHORTS

Hey guys,

Today I will show you how to make these half bleached shorts. It's really easy :)

What you'll need:
- Denim shorts
- Thick bleach
~
- Ducktape or another sort of tape
- Plastic bag or leaflets
~
- Bucket (to wash your shorts)
- Water
- Little container (to throw the bleach in it and your shorts)
- Stick
- Gloves (optional, but recommended)
- Cardboard (to prevent bleach spots on the ground)

Be careful with the bleach! I recommend to do this DIY outside!!

Let's begin!
1. Place the cardboard to protect the ground/grass/whatever. Now take the tape and start taping the middle part of the denim shorts.

2. Take some leaflets and wrap them on the half of the shorts. You can also use a bag for this step if you don't have any leaflets. Or you can use both to extra protect it.

3. Now it's time to bleach! Take your container and add some bleach in it. Throw the half of the shorts in it and leave it for like 6 minutes. Make sure you don't miss any spots. You can take a stick to pull some of the parts in the bleach. Don't use your fingers to pull it in the bleach. And don't leave it too long in the bleach, otherwise it will start damaging your shorts.

4. When you're done with bleaching part it's time to dry. Take your shorts out of the container and lay it somewhere else on the cardboard. Wait for a few hours till it's dry. You don't have to wait till it's super dry. Just wait till you see any difference.

5. When it's dry take off the tape and go wash it in warm water. Take the bucket and fill half in with warm water. Then go wash it and let it dry. After this step you can also wash it again, but then with cold water. And after this step you can throw it in the washer. But if you are lazy, like me, you can wash it one time. Just make sure that the bleach is washed out!

6. Wait until it's dry.

7. And now you're done! Yay!

I hope you enjoyed this DIY.
